I'm fascinated by emerging technologies and their potential to reshape how we learn.
As a researcher at the Centre for Education and Learning (CEL), I focus on using Learning Analytics to understand and improve educational processes, particularly with the rise of Generative AI. My work involves analyzing how students interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) to uncover patterns that can inform the design of better learning tools. This research led me to create JELAI, a Jupyter-based environment for studying these interactions.
Before my PhD, I was a Research Engineer at the Web Information Systems group at TU Delft. Outside of academia, I enjoy music, (bike) travelling, and making my own hot sauces.
