Regular Viewers are learners that visit Forums at least once a week in 3 separate weeks (does not have to be consecutively) during the course. Occasional Viewers are learners that also visit Forums but less than 3 separate weeks. Same notion for Regular and Occasional Posters, but regarding Posting or Commenting in Forums.

The Video Interactions chart shows the average learner's sequential watching activity across videos. Each node (circle) represents a video, and they are ordered according to the course structure. Each link (arc) shows the the following video watched, and the thickness is proportional to the amount of students going to that video.

The Learning Path chart shows the average learner's sequential movement between course components during a given week. Each node (circle) is a type of course component, and each link (arrow) shows the likelihood that a student will transition from one event type to another. The paths are calculated as a Markov Chain, so the probability that a student goes to a given component type depends only on the previous component.
